The 47th annual CSI Intercollegiate Rodeo will be March 8-9 in the CSI Eldon Evans Expo Center.  Doors open at 5:30 p.m. each day with rodeo action beginning at 7 p.m.  The Golden Eagle Men currently lead the Rocky Mountain Region Standings and the Women are in eighth place. This will be the first rodeo of the spring season.


For boys district high school basketball yesterday, in the 2A Canyon  Conference tournament Declo took the win over Wendell 53 to 50.  The Hornets will host game two at 7 p.m. Feb. 20. 


In 4A great Basin Conference action Minico for the win lover Burley 73 to 63. Minico will visit No. 2 Twin Falls at 6 p.m. tomorrow in a semifinal. Burley will play an elimination game against loser of Minico-Twin Falls Feb. 20.  It was Jerome over Wood River 52 to 42.  Jerome will visit No. 1 Canyon Ridge at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow in a semifinal. Wood River will play the loser of that game in an elimination game next Tuesday.


In 1A D-2 sawtooth conference tournament play Camas County defeated Richfield 68 to 24.  It was Dietrich 59 to Hagerman’s 57. 


On the game schedule for today, for Boys district games, Murtaugh and Castleford will play in Oakley.  Gooding and Kimberly will meet at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls and Glenns Ferry will travel to Raft River.  Buhl and Filer will play at the College of Southern Idaho.  Carey will head to Oakley and Valley will host Lighthouse Christian.
