From the high school basketball varsity games from yesterday, for the girls, Parma defeated Gooding in the Parma Holiday tournament 55 to 47. From the Timber Lion games in Boise, Burley took the win over New Plymouth 38 to 29. Burley, now 5 and 7 for the season will play Borah on Wednesday. Elsewhere from the holiday tournament, Kimberly took the win over Ontario 64 to 9. Owyhee for the win over Minico 74 to 37 in the Timber Lion games. It took overtime to do it but Twin Falls took the win over Centennial 52 to 47.
From the truck stop dot com tournament for the boys, Carey took the win over Horseshoe Bend with a score of 56 to 44. Canyon ridge took the win over Century 59 to 33.
On the sports schedule for the weekend, for boys basketball, Marsh Valley travels to Buhl. Canyon Ridge and Filer travels to Rigby to be part of the East Idaho Holiday Shootout. Carey heads to New Plymouth to play in the Truckstop Tournament.
For the girls, Minico will play Meridian and Twin Falls Plays Capital in the TimberLion Tournament at Borah. Kimberly will be part of the Parma Holiday Tournament. Murtaugh takes on Sho Ban. Burley will be part of the TimberLion tournament and play Mountain View.
On Saturday Burley and Rocky Mountain will meet up. Declo plays Ambrose, Twin Falls plays Borah, and Minico plays Capitol.
