Lydia Rose Miller of Filer, the Miss Rodeo Idaho for 2023 is on the road the first week of December as she will be representing the gem state at the Miss Rodeo America Pageant. The event in Las Vegas Nevada is set for December 3rd through the 10th.
The College of Southern Idaho Men's Cross Country Team claimed sixth place in the NJCAA Division I Cross Country National Championships Saturday and has one individual crack the top 20 for All American honors. CSI's top five finishers were Keegan McCraw and Jonathan Frew. CSI improved on its ninth-place finishes the past two year but battled some injuries late or would have had a good chance to bring home some hardware.
In high school girls basketball from last night, Hagerman took the win over Lighthouse Christian in Twin Falls with a score of 50 to 27.
On today’s schedule for the girls, Camas County travels to Twin Falls to play the Christian Academy. Carey will head to Butte County and Oakley Goes to Rimrock. Jerome is on the road to Bishop Kelly, Wood River travels to Buhl and Burley is on the bus to play Caldwell. Firth will visit Declo and Wendell will travel to Gooding. Glenns Ferry goes to Hagerman and Shoshone heads to Hansen. Minico will host Pocatello and Richfield travels to play Murtaugh. Rockland will travel to Raft River and Dietrich will be on the road to play Valley.
