In local High School games, first to Baseball, where in a non-conference game, Wendell took the win over Glenns Ferry 14 to 4. Burley for the win over Mountain Home 7 to 2. The Bobcats move on to the semi-finals and will play No. 2 Minico on Saturday at 5:00. Mountain Home will play the loser of Minico and Burley on May 7th. Wood River for the win in extra Innings over Canyon Ridge 6 to 5. The Wolverines advance to play Twin Falls tomorrow. Canyon Ridge will play the loser of Twin Falls and Wood River on May 7th.
From the first round of the Great Basin Conference softball tournament, The Jerome tigers took the win over Canyon Ridge in six innings 11 to 1. Canyon Ridge will play the loser of Twin Falls and Jerome on May 8th. Elsewhere Burley downed Minico 21 to 14. The Bobcats will play No. 1 Twin Falls tomorrow while Minico will play the loser of Wood River and Jerome on May 8th. In a non-conference game, Wendell took the win over Glenns Ferry 11 to 8.

Nine Broncos collected a hit and Boise State defeated Colorado State 9-3 in Mountain West softball, yesterday. Boise State and Colorado State continue their series, Friday at 6 p.m.
In a Scenic West Athletic Conference matchup between sixth-ranked College of Southern Idaho and USU Eastern it was the Golden Eagles for the win 5-4 and 18-1. CSI will take on USUE today in a doubleheader at noon to finish up the regular season.
The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team took a 7-2 win over USU Eastern yesterday before falling 9-7 in extra innings in game two. CSI, 28-23 overall and 11-16 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play, will host USUE for a doubleheader this morning at 11 a.m. Between games, the sophomores will be honored.
Idaho State University said there is a series of upgrades totaling $600,000 at Miller Ranch Stadium, the home of the ISU softball program. Completed earlier this spring, these upgrades signify a significant milestone in enhancing the spectator experience and elevating the stature of the stadium within the Big Sky Conference.
