Senate President Pro Tem Chuck Winder has removed Sen. Glenneda Zuiderveld as the vice chair of the Senate House and Welfare Committee and reprimanded Sen. Scott Herndon over editorials those two senators wrote that were critical of other senators. Zuiderveld, of Twin Falls, and Herndon, of Sagle, are both members of the Idaho Freedom Caucus.


52-year-old Michael Terry Little from Nampa was sentenced to two years in federal prison for Introduction of Unapproved New Drugs in Interstate Commerce. According to court records, Little manufactured and sold Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators at a business in Nampa, where he processed the bulk ingredients he imported from China. SARMs are synthetic chemicals mimicking the effects of testosterone and other anabolic steroids.


The Boise Airport is preparing for an estimated 170,000 passengers to pass through during the 12-day Thanksgiving holiday period. A new public parking garage opened this summer. The addition of the East Parking Garage doubled the airport's long-term parking capacity near the terminal.


The window to apply to become Idaho State University's 14th president closed. Eighty-four candidates submitted applications. ISU President Kevin Satterlee announced he will retire on Dec. 31, after leading Idaho State University for five and a half years.


Police are investigating the death of a 55 year old Mountain Home woman wo was killed after being struck by a car last night. It happened just west of Mountain Home along Highway 67. The victim was standing in the road when she was struck.


ISP say a 65 year old Twin Falls Man was injured yesterday afternoon when he drove his semi-truck off the road. It happened along U.S. 93 around 4 pm just east of Jerome. The trailer became detached. The driver transported by air ambulance for treatment.


Motorists traveling through Filer avenue and Meadowview Lane in Twin Falls will notice that there is now a 4-way stop at the intersection. The city installed the signs due to increased traffic. Also tomorrow the Highway district will close orchard drive west in Twin Falls to replace irrigation pipes. The road will be closed between Washington Street South and Kenyon Drive.
